Job Title: Technician II (Full-Time)

Job Location: In office & local or national show sites. 
Compensation: $50,000 – $52,000 annual salary + overtime eligibility.

The Position

As a Technician at ATXES, you’ll work across Operations to help plan, prepare and execute live events. This position contributes to high-profile events by working alongside the ATXES team both on-site and in the warehouse. On other occasions, you’ll have the chance to work directly under the guidance of the department Directors, and with their guidance you’ll engage with clients, lead crews, and gain valuable insights into the sales and project management roles.

Candidate Profile

  • Technically proficient as an operating lead for at least one discipline within live event technology (audio, video, lighting, broadcast, streaming). 
  • Collaborative-minded team players.
  • Driven to create only positive interactions among clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented and proficient at organizing their work digitally. 
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work without supervision. 
  • Strong at technical and mechanical problem solving. 
  • Legally able to operate company motor vehicles.
  • Able to travel. 
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and on outdoor event sites.
  • Able to lift heavy objects and equipment.
  • Able to work weekends and accommodate a varying weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working cross departmentally between project management and operations to execute project delivery requirements. 
  • Assembling, disassembling, programming or operating equipment on show site. 
  • Operating company vehicles up to a 26’ box truck. 
  • Pulling and preparing inventory orders alongside warehouse team members.
  • Loading and unloading inventory into delivery vehicles.
  • QC’ing, and returning gear from show site to warehouse inventory.   
  • Organizing and maintaining a clean working environment. 
  • Contributing to non-show related projects under the direction of team leaders.
